Things I've been working on...

These are the things I've been busy with for quite a while. I have a couple more Krinklekids to add here, but, these are things that I want to upload to my etsy shop. It will happen soon. I guess when I figure out the ins and outs of etsy.....

Stuff I've finished....

Here they are... Well, every time I try to put a photo in, the button is not working. I will come back later to try to insert these pics. They are awesome! My daughter is becoming quite the photographer! I love her pics!

Already sold!

Here's what I've been working on the past week or so amongst other things. It's actually the 2nd version of my orange giraffe. The first one, I wasn't pleased with. I don't have a great camera so my pictures don't come off very clear. I will have to try to get my daughter to take pics for me.

Thursday makings

Here it is another Thursday already in the new year! I have this to post today---

Well, today I hope to get to a few more projects. Yesterday, I made a trip wallet for my daughter's 25th birthday. I of course, forgot to take my camera to get a picture of it. What I did was take my new little portable tiny sewing machine that I got for umhmm, Christmas, and wanted to see how it would work. Well, I wasn't too impressed with it, but, it was handy. It makes carrying my normal machine around a little less cumbersome. Has anyone else had any kind of thoughts about those little mending type of machines?

So sad to see what is going on in Haiti! I hope they can get things back together before more quakes come along!

Can't keep up

Well, what was that message? I didn't understand it. I don't know if I can write what I had here before.

I have made a few things, and I'll try to post them in the next day or so. To ward off the cold of winter, I made a cowl for around my neck. I've crocheted an Amigukid bear, and made a giraffe Krinklekid. Will get those pics up tomorrow.

What the heck?

It's so late! Who stays up this late, I want to know! Well, it's now 1/2 a month since I've last posted and now it's so late, who wants to be up posting! It's crazy nuts around my place most days and you sometimes can't see up from down! You know what I mean? My latest feat at sewing: A Poo Potty Training Chart! Ha! You didn't know there was such a thing did you? Well, after my grandson visited the pediatric gastroenterologist (did I spell that right?) we found out that you need to put them on the potty for 5 minutes when they get up in the morning, after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner, and before bedtime! Whew! That's alot of sitting time! But, so to make it fun, here is what I piddled around with and came up with:

This potty chart works with any kind of stickers. I made several pages to insert with the grid on it so they can change the grid every week. We'll let you know if it works or not! Let me know what you think okay?

Happy New Year--2010! A New Decade is Here!

This is the last thing I made in 2009---just two days ago....

He looks much better with the curtain open and looking out at the snow, but, my camera isn't the greatest and so, we had to capture him with the curtain closed! He's just my little winter bird....

Now, here's what needs to be put away today! I let everyone have their way and keep it up until New Year's, but, this is what it looks like after the new kitty has his way with it!

Welcome to 2010! Here, we're going to put away the Christmas Tree and all the Christmas decorations......Now, bring on the spring! The countdown is on: Maybe 9 weeks?????
